The Power of Helping Others Succeed and Why It's Essential for Your Success

I keep it realer than most, I know you feelin' it...-Jay-Z

Sometimes, I catch myself feeling envious or even hating on people. What can I say, I am human, specifically a black male, born in the "hoods" of the USA, with the name "DeTravius" BUT If I am being honest, 99.9% of the time, I live my life with an abundance mindset. This way of thinking focuses on the opportunities and possibilities available in life rather than dwelling on scarcity and limitations. For instance, with over 8 billion people on Earth and 48.9 trillion dollars in circulation, why should I hate on someone who makes more money or has more clients? Instead, I put my time and energy into figuring out how to get my message, services, or products in front of people to increase my income.

In fact, I am going to go even one step further and make the argument that if you don't help your "people," team, etc. you are not growing and succeeding at the rate that should or can. In other words, if you want to REALLY succeed in life and business, one of the best ways to do so is by helping others succeed.

If every [person] in your clique is rich, your clique is rugged Nobody will fall 'cause everyone will be each others crutches. I hope you fools choose to listen, I drop jewels, bust it. These are the rules I follow in my life, you gotta love it-The Great Philosopher Shawn Carter

Here are some of the benefits of having an abundance mindset with my life and "network." Before I get into it, please note that the harsh reality is that some people are going to f&$k you, some people are going to appreciate you, and believe it or not, some people may even despise you for helping them! Most importantly, I think it is a good practice to do these things and not expect anything in return because the universe will eventually reward you.

Enough...here it is

1. Having an abundance mindset helps build strong relationships: When you have an abundance mindset, you are more likely to approach relationships with a spirit of generosity and a desire to help others succeed. By offering your time, skills, and resources to others, you can build strong relationships that can be invaluable in both your personal and professional life.

2. Having an abundance mindset helps expand your network: Helping others can also help you expand your network and connect with new people who may be able to offer you new opportunities or ideas. By demonstrating your value and expertise to others, you can build a reputation as a helpful, reliable, and knowledgeable person, which can lead to new connections and collaborations.

3. Having an abundance mindset helps you gain new skills and knowledge: Helping others can also be an opportunity to learn new skills and gain new knowledge. By working with people who have different perspectives and experiences, you can gain valuable insights and broaden your understanding of the world.

4. Having an abundance mindset helps you find your sense of purpose: Finally, helping others can give you a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment. By using your skills and resources to make a positive impact on the world, you can feel more connected to your values and goals, which can be a powerful motivator for success.

In summary, an abundance mindset and helping others can help a person succeed by building strong relationships, expanding their network, gaining new skills and knowledge, and increasing their sense of purpose. By focusing on creating positive outcomes and opportunities for others, individuals can create a ripple effect of positivity that can help them achieve their own goals and aspirations.
